I was just wondering if and what club membership you use.

I get ads in the mail it seems once a week for Good Sam. I have also seen the others, Passport America and Camphalfprice, etc...

What do you use, and do you like it?

Is there anything like this for Canada? I know we have some Canada members, just curious if you use one there, and what is the best?

We have a good sam membership and it is okay. There are several places we go that accept it. I havent looked into the other 2 as much, but I dont think they cover as much ground as good sam, however the ones they do cover, they are half price, versus good sam is just a discount.

Yeah, there are a lot of KOA campgrounds in the US. They sell a membership to? I will have to check into that, is it worth it? Do they charge annually for a discounted camping rate or something like that?

This seems to be what I found to, that good sam will get you more parks, but its a small discount. Better than nothing though, and if you camp at good sam parks often, it would be worth it. I have never camped at a KOA park, but they look nice on their website

I never knew KOA's had a memberships either. Growing up, all we did was stay at KOA campgrounds. We had such bad experiences at the little mom and pop campgrounds that my parents decided KOA was the only way to go. I think times have changed and the consumers demand more so the mom/pop campgrounds have had to improve their grounds.

We havent ever purchased one either, seems they dont have that many campgrounds in our area to choose from, so getting one wouldnt probably save us any money in the long run. We frequent different places and if it dont work at several of them, its not really worth it to us.

We are full-timers & have RPI,Escapees & Elks. With those plus Casinos, we never have a problem finding a place to stay.
Private Parks are usually too expensive....ditto for most State Parks.
