Hey everyone.

Just wanted to say hello!

My family and I (dw and 2 boys- 7 & 4) just purchased a new Fleetwood E3 pu to replace our '78 Starcraft. We can't wait to pick it up and continue the adventures.

Here's to all that enjoy what nature has to offer.

Welcome Liles1!!!! :welcome:

You have found a great little community here to belong to! You will have to get some pictures of the old Starcraft (and the new pu too) and post them here for us to live vicariously!!!
Jeremy, Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the E3 which I know you will enjoy.

Now since you shared elsewhere that I helped you with the decision to buy Fleetwood's E3 and probably not Starcraft's 34RT, you know I'm holding you personally responsible for the names I might be called by the folks at Starcraft :whipyobut:

Again, welcome and happy camping.

Ruide
Ruide,

No problem. You can hold me as responsible as you want. I can't give you full credit either. I looked at the Starcrafts as well, and being a longtime owner I had an inherent fondness. After looking at them though, I just couldn't stand the interior and I liked the construction and exterior design of the Fleetwood better. So I should have said that you confirmed the decision that I had already made. Does that get you off the hook?:thumbup1:

Jeremy
LOL... Yes Jeremy I think that the Starcraft person that is responsible to monitor this forum will now speak up in my defense. However, with your personal experience I will now be counting on you to speak up the next time we have one of those "Can anyone tell me the pros and cons between the Evolution, Starcraft RT, Jayco Baja and Forest River BR or Freedom series PUP?"

Take care.

Ruide
Hello Liles, welcome to the community. Congrats on the new camper, when do you get it?
Mailfire,

Thanks. We pick up the pu tomorrow. Cant' Wait!!
Ruide,

As soon as I have some experience with the new pu to back up my opinion I will be happy to add my 2 cents worth to the debate.

Jeremy
Jeremy, Great. I flagged two items that you should make note of in the comments section of my blog. I'm mentioning it here so you look at the comments before picking up the E3.

Take care.

Ruide
Welcome Liles1. I hope you enjoy the site. Congrats on the new Fleetwood.
Here it is.

And by the way Ruide, the service techs that gave the walk through did a bang up job. They covered all of the items you discussed down to the coupler pin. I was really impressed. What an easy pu. I suffered for too many years and can't wait to start enjoying it.
