New Camper Owners

My husband and I just bought a 32' Forest River travel trailer. I've always loved the outdoors and camping but I can't get my husband in a tent anymore (or anything lacking A/C). We've borrowed his parents' camper for the past few years but decided to finally buy one of our own. We're very excited and still can't believe it's ours and we don't have to unpack it and re-clean it and especially return it!

Our plan was to travel with our 9 year old Chihuahua baby Lily, but she passed away less than 2 weeks before we picked the camper up. So it will just be me, the hubs and our 4 month old Boxer, Bo. Of course we did get a camper with plenty of extra sleeping space for family and friends to join us some. We're planning on enjoying campgrounds mostly in SC, NC & GA (especially until we really know what we're doing!). Our favorite regional places to travel are Edisto Island, SC and Highlands, NC so it will be interesting visiting those in a different way.

I'm excited to get to know everyone here and find some new places to camp, recipes, tips and tricks!
