Morning cup of coffee...

Good morning Camper Family :coffee:

in another forum i am in, there is a sort of running "Good Morning" post, where people post their good mornings to the group, and maybe a bit of what you have planned for the day, did the previous day (try to keep it brief ;) ), any urgent news about yourself or family, that sort of thing. like a brief morning bulletin-board to greet the group in the morning, or whenever you get around to your morning. ;)

i for one am a carpenter/Construction worker, so i tend to wake early. i will try to remember to post my "good Morning's" every morning to help get this started. kind of a slow forum, but maybe we can revive this community. :)

By the way, did you know this forum is on the smart phone app "Tapatalk"? a handy way to access the forum while out and about, assuming you have cellular data service, of course... ;) just do a search on Tapatalk for "campercommunity" and it should come right up. :) i for one have Tapatalk Pro, but there is a free version.

So, lets gather around the morning campfire, enjoy some coffee, or whatever your preferred morning beverage, and start the day together!

M'be the higher initial setting is to keep the heart richly oxygenated to help the muscle recover? It's amazing how they have an app for everything nowadays. Keep getting "more gooder".
Thanx!

Enjoy!

well, i caught the Creeping Crud (covid). just got the test results last night. i am fully vaxed, so i don't think it will be severe. so far, just a runny nose, cough, lack of taste. this is my first time with Covid. i had a good long run, making it through most of the pandemic having not caught it, but it finally tracked me down. ;)

i am still in operation here, until it gets too hard to do my duties. i hope it won't get out of hand while i am out of operation.

More than two years later, I still have odd smells and odd tastes I'm dealing with. The worst is that at times, coffee tastes nasty to me. I also had a lingering cough for a LONG time, turned out to be a post nasal drip, and hammered away Mucinex DM (Amazon's "Mucus-DM" is cheaper) for a while. Having a lingering cough doesn't induce confidence with people these days, everyone's so full of fear now.

...Hope you heal well and soon!

Something has been working at getting to me for the last week; hope it isn't covid.

Good Luck!

'Mornin, Travis, Joe and the rest of the community.
I just joined on your invite from OneFora and having my mornin coffee and catching up on your forum. My background is backpacking and primitive tent camping. Preferably off the beaten path and away from people. I am not a people person. Especially the younger crowd that has no dicipline, manners or respect for other people's "space".
I try to camp near water that offers fishing opportunities. Especially salt water.
Here in Central Florida, the summers are brutal with the heat, humidity, bugs, and things that want to kill you such as venomous snakes, alligators and pythons so we try to get out in the winter time. Weekend road trips "up Nawth" are rare but we are trying to fix that with a week long trout fising trip up to Great Smokies this fall.
I'll keep reading - lots of good stuff here.

Good morning!
The weather here is unsettled; might get some rain and/or snow but the temps should top out, at this altitude (around 6200 feet), in the 40s...
... relatively few bugs here but there are a some snakes...
Spring is almost here as is the annual migration from southern states... Lots of Floridians seem to like to "get away" to the mountains... 'Though the snow/strange mountain weather can be eye opener (white knuckler) for some.

Enjoy!

Hope the labs have a positive result !!
I'm not a bagel guy. But, I've found that a big slathering of gravy covers a lot of imperfections in most foods.
