This past weekend we went camping from Friday until Monday and it rained the whole weekend. Saturday I spent the whole day either under the awning or with my son splashing in the water with our rain coats on. We had a good time anyway. Sunday rained on and off all day and when it cleared up fo a couple of hours, we all went fishing. There we were, Emily already started fishing and right away she cought a fish. I ran over to help her out. She's been fishing for the past few years and knows what to do. This was Liam's very first fishing trip. Never fished in his life before. There we were standing at the end of the dock, I cast out the line for him and I get him to hold the rod and teach him how to reel the line back in and BAM!......He catches a fish on his first try. MAN! I couldn't believe it! He was so happy he was cheering and laughing right up until I pulled the fish out of the water. :rotflmao1: He lost it.... He took off running and screaming yelling "PUT IT BACK" Well a few minutes later he wanted to try again and sure enough a few tries later he catches another fish. This time he just back away without the excitement. I unhooked the fish to show it to him and he gave it a kiss! :rotflmao1:then he said "put it back". We have it all on video to. That made the whole weekend worth it.
