Howdy! I'm new to the board, obviously, and am looking forward to many hours of catching up. I saw an ad on the Big Bend Chat that I'm a member of and joined up. I am an avid camper, hiker and kayaker and have just moved back to Del Rio from College Station to take care of my Mom. I'm an avid Big Bender, going there 5-6 times a year and now that I'm only 4 hours away, it will be more. I have been backpacking in the Weminuche Wilderness for the past 7 years and branched out to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons this past summer.

Any of you in the west Texas area?
