How Do You Document your Travels?

I used to try and find a cloisonne pin for major trips/locations/events/concerts and put them on a hat...
...until; I was four wheeling a difficult trail and the (padded) roll bar smacked me along side the head... left not one but about 26 pins/holders stuck in my scalp...
... NOT fun! ... Still have the hat around somewhere, probably... they didn't even bleed, much, when I pulled them out.
... but I stopped collecting them and haven't worn the that hat since.

Walking stick badges would probably be a better idea...

LOL I've got a bag of vest pins laying around somewhere of places I've been.

Hmmm, i kinda feel like i haven't really gone anywhere... all i have is a patch from my trip with Outward Bound, back in 1995. i have pictures somewhere, from the same trip... but i guess i must have been sitting on my butt, growing roots, since then, as i have nothing to show for anything in between.

really though, i guess i am just not a collector of things from trips. i have been to Florida a few times as a kid, Ohio to the Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame... Canada with Church camp... oh, i skied Wildcat Mountain in NH, though ironically, never skied Sugarloaf, a few miles north of me right here in Maine.

I`m not "collecting" type of campers... I've just made photos and that's all. Memories matters, so maybe I`ll try something else
