I have seen several Hammock camping sytems some with mesqutio netting and or rain flies.

Have you tried them? If so do you recommend them?

I know a guy who kayak paddled from St Louis down the TenSaw River to Alabama and out to the Gulf, around Florida and back up to New York, who camped with only a hammock and bugnet

I've tried it, I am not a hater but i am not a lover either.
It made due in the few moments of quiet before the storm.

I love it!

There's a technique to sleeping in a hammock but when you get it down it's incredible.

One thing I'd note is longer hammocks are typically more comfortable for me.
