I know this has probably been beat to death before but we are now paying $ 1.28 per litre or $ 4.86 per US gallon for regular gas here in Nova Scotia ,, pretty much the same for most of Canada. Diesel is $1.27 per litre or $ 4.82 a US gallon ,,,,

I can't help but think it will be cutting down on the travel plans for many people.
For years we have heard the story of how its cheaper in the US because our dollar was so low , hitting the high 60 cent range at one point I believe ,,,,,, well bull pucky on that as our dollar is now 3 cents over par with the US dollar ,,,

what are the prices where you all are?

just curious :)

Yep its ridiculous!

We are paying $3.40/gal here in TN, diesel upwards of $3.90/gal

Regulate the gas prices! Tired of these oil executives making millions while we are getting killed with these prices.

Where I live in So. Cal diesel is averaging $4.25/gallon. Super leaded is higher or lower depening on who the station wants to gouge. I don't pay attention to regular unleaded because my vehicles haven't used that for over 7 years. I have a Mercedes Benz that requires 90 octane minimum. Then of course my other vehicle is a diesel truck. Good thing I'm retired and can opt not to drive too much if I don't feel like it.

I do feel bad for the majority who do not have this luxury. Let's all hang in there, especially the Canadians.

fuel prices

It's easy to blame the oil exporters but I don't hear anything about the oil refineries going bankrupt. And then there's the spec people who use every news item to bump the spec market up based on fear, threats and intimidation, none of them going bankrupt either just good ol' capitalizm at work I guess. We still plan on doing about the same this year with our toy hauler as last year so maybe we contribute too.

the refineries came up with a 20 cent a litre refining fee a few years ago ,, our esteemed politicians love the high profits by these oil companies, tax rate is based on % of price. it does suck lemons for sure.....

4.98 a gal for gas and a little over 5. for diesel this week

5.16 a gallon now April 12 2011
