Hi Brian
I just got on google earth and found you. Ripon looks like the quintessential British village, delightful! I came to London in march 93 and spent all twelve days in London except one tour to Oxford, Blenhiem, Hampton Court but the prize was Windsor Castle. I was prepared for what we are told about the British stand offishness but found the people very friendly, helpfull and warm. I have always planned on going back to see the rest of your delightful island and will do so next spring with my girlfriend. One thing I missed in 93 is I could have come up your way and met Alf Wight aka James Harriot who was still practicing in Thirsk which I see is very close to Ripon, oh well one of many missed opportunities in life. We definitly want to see Scotland so maybe we'll see you on the way through. Best of luck and let us all know about the camping you have in your country, Gerry

Nothing like listening to a couple of homeboys chatting things up. The internet has made this possible!!!
