Question How Do You Clean a Canvas "A" Frame Tent?

For the first time this year, I dug out my canvas A-Frame tent and noticed it needed a good cleaning. Its made of canvas and was also treated with a water-proofing substance, so I wasn't sure what I could use on it. Last year before I put it away, I sprayed it down with the hose and let it sit out in the sun to dry, but that didn't take off all the grime, so I know hosing it down again would be a waste of a time. I was told vinegar might do the trick, but its not just grime thats on it; there is also some mildew and some other strange grime. Any suggestions on how I should go about cleaning it?

How to Clean Mold From a Canvas Tent | eHow.com I found this by googleing cleaning canvas. It does mention vinegar and another product under resources. Do not use clorox or bleach.
Good luck. Bob
