I'm new to the travel trailer community. Been in Alaska for 36 years, done many years of tent camping and finally bought a 26' travel trailer. Looks like you have a great forum here.

Welcome aboard Doug. It is a great forum. I'm from merry olde England, so, up to now, you've been the most furthest place I've been in contact with. Do you do plenty of "wild" camping or is there campsites that you can actually go on? I've been over most of western Europe. Always wanted to enter East Germany to get to West Berlin, but by the time I was going to do this (hubby was in the British Army then), the wall came down

Hi Babstreefern,
Thanks for the warm welcome. Yep, all of our camping is "wild" camping. There are some campsites up here but we prefer camping in the more secluded areas. Most campsites are a little too close to towns for our liking.
I hope to visit England one of these days. I've been to Europe, but only Italy and France.

Never been to Italy, but would like to visit one day, especially Pompeii. Been all over France. Only part I've not been to is the south west part, ie, around Biaritz and below Bordeaux, prefer the wine regions
