For some reason I thought this site was no longer in existence. Alas, a place for campers to post ideas, recipes, etc... is the place I like.

We upgraded two years ago to a Jayco Jay Feather 16XRB and love it. We love to go out and spend the weekend just relaxing with the dogs.

This year we decided to get a Dish playmaker and that decision was an awesome one. At night we can catch the news or a good movie and also it has allowed us to keep in contact with weather which...

Our year started off later than most years due to had to have the roof of our camper repaired from the ice storm that happen last December. However we were real stoked about getting out there for a weekend and relax and enjoy.

What a perfect weekend this past weekend was. Clear skies highs in the seventies, real nice weather. Of course there is a story here to tell, not all events happen without the story.....

I knew it was going to be cold at night in fact on saturday...

The weather held out for the most part. We started out on Friday May 23, 2008 and headed south of Tulsa Oklahoma to Hayburn Lake.

Our destination was Sheppard Point a Corps of Engineer park North of Kellyville Oklahoma.

Due to the rising gas prices we chose to stay a reasonable distance from home without soaking our pockets on gas.

I had to make the reservations at, and pretty much was site unseen. We had never been to Hayburn Lake prior much...
