Default I'm so proud of her......

Wife left yesterday for a three day camping trip(daughters softball tourny). She towed the 30' camper up north by herself, backed it in the camping spot (with a little help), and set the camper up by herself. My neighbors/friends can't believe she was going to tow it and set it up all without me. All I did is hook the camper up to the truck for her. They keep saying I wish my wife would do that

I'll be heading up tonight after work....it will be weird to have the camper all setup and ready when I get there.

I just hope she has the beer on ice when I get there

Thats great. I am one of those who wishes my wife could do that. She has offered to learn, so maybe someday. So did she pull it with the new burban yall got?

I would imagine the beer would be cold when you arrive, if she can tow it, back it up, setup camp, the beer ice down is a breeze.

"Anything you can do... I can do better..."

Just kidding! You are a VERY lucky fella!!!

I don't know if your lady is much of a beer drinker, but I imagine after her road trip and camp set up... she was ready for one of those cold brews herself... I would be less worried that they are cold and more worried that she might drink them all herself!!!!!!!

Beer was cold when I got there....Woot!
She towed it with the 454ci Suburban. She likes towing it better than with the old 350ci Burban. She also towed it home today.

couple of pics from the weekend.

jeep, suburban, and camper

muddy jeep....I hit a few trails on the way up friday

I don't think I'm allowed to tow the camper anymore She towed it up north for the 4th holiday weekend, and towed it home. I asked but she wouldn't let me.

Last week was the trip where my wife was going to try towing. We left so early that she slept the whole trip. On the way home, fortunately she wasn't driving, as one of the leaf springs broke while I was going about 55. The trailer went out of control behind me, but I was able to get it pulled over quickly. That wouldn't have happened if I was a newbie at it.

Well I guess she is pretty independent with the camper now. She loaded it and the Suburban today and took off for a week camping trip with the kids. The scary thing is she left me home alone, unsupervised

Oh how I've enjoyed reading this thread. You've got quite a woman there..."you go girl!"

Oh, I guess she already has.
