Default What do you search the Internet for?

Most of my Internet camping-related searches are for camping gear or camp projects.

What are most of your searches for?

I also look for campgrounds, camping options, locations, etc. I backpack, tent camp, use an RV or use a truck bed tent. The internet has vastly improved how I get better prepared and informed to provide a better experience whatever camping method I'm going to use.

I browse for campgrounds, state parks, hiking trails, rail/trails, and tents ... (I have two perfectly serviceable tents, but I love looking at all the tent options. Maybe it's like when people drive around on Sunday looking at new home developments.)

I know what you mean Glitterhiker. I find myself looking for gear I don't need too. Just fun to see what's new.

I even get a chuckle sometimes when I see a good product with totally useless "bells and whistles" added just so it can be promoted as the newest "next best thing"

Or when you see a product promo touting the performance of a feature that you know from experience does not work

I use the internet and Google earth to plan our trips. Do a lot of research for campgrounds (mainly corp or state parks), routes, restaurants, and things of interest to see, like covered bridges, water falls, springs, etc. Camp site pics are really helpful as are campsite reviews. But regardless of how much research, planning and studying I do some of the best sights are those that are stumbled upon or found by a small road side sign or campground conversations.

Also like to check out the B RVs that I can't afford, but dream of.

Keep posting your pics as they are very helpful.

Trip planning - camp reviews - solutions for problems - sometimes products reviews
