46 years in the making. At last, we're out of the EU. Should never have joined. But you know what it is about politicians. Filling their pockets

You sure you want that haha. Once your health care becomes privatized and you see how expensive it is you might change your tune. Trust me you don't want that. I'm living it. Cambridge Analytica has done a good job lol.

We have private healthcare, but we will always have the NHS, which we've had since 1948. No matter what people believe, it isn't free, although the illegal immigrants think it is, and people from the EU. We, as workers, pay for it. It pays for our healthcare, pension (when we retire) and other things besides. Our country is the only one the world that has this type of healthcare. If you go to anywhere in the EU, you have to pay, same as in the USA, Canada, or wherever

Not sure what this has to do with camping, but I like the opinions here!

Don't you guys ever read the small print? Under "Around the Campfire" heading, which this topic is, it says underneath "Off-topic general chit-chat". There's another thread that is only about camping/caravanning

Did I register for the wrong website? I'm not exactly sure how the Brexit has anything to do with camping. I was looking for posts regarding how to start a proper campfire for the kids that are tagging along with a trip organized by www.saweightlosshypnosis.com.au and instead I run into this rant. What a shame.

If you go under "Camping Discussion", you may get your answer to your question. This thread is all about anything other than camping

Default How are you holding up?

Hey buddy. Just checking up on you to see how you're holding up with your nation out of the EU? Do you still think it was a good idea?

Anyways, I hope all is well with you. Now is definitely not the time to quarrel amongst ourselves. We heal as one. www.qldmobiledogwash.com

Hi Sammy, yes we're ok. Still in and out of lockdown because of this coronavirus. It starting to spike again. Although we're out of the EU, the politicians are still sorting out the niggly bits, namely, fishing rights, apparently the EU, namely France and Spain, still want to fish in our waters, but we the British are not allowed to. And also the Southern and Northern Irish border. But we will be officially done and dusted by 1 January 2021. I've had my first trip in my caravan. First time of towing. Went to Shrewsbury for a week. Only about an hour's run. If you've ever watched a tv series called Cadfael some years ago, about a monk who's a type of detective, in 14th century England, well, this is the place I went to. Have booked a week in April next year to Oxford. So looking forward to that now
