Pros:: It is a great idea, if they can make it sturdier.
Cons:: The wires are run through the hinge and take a lot of trauma during open and close, causing it to break.

Pros:
Cons:

I actually bought this to help circulate some heat from my kerosene heater when we loose power in the winter. I used it a couple times for power outages over the winter, and then my mother used it on her table at bingo in an un-airconditioned firehall a few times.

After about 8 uses, one of the wires that run from the bottom where you put the batteries to the top where the fan and light is broke off.

It wasn't expensive, but it didn't last either.
