Default New guy from Alberta, Canada

Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm traditionally a canoe-hike-tent kind of camper, but my wife has this thing about bears, so we had to buy a trailer. And, of course, the diesel to pull it. Yes, she's a big wuss.

Anyway, two kids (both girls - 4 and 1 1/2) and a dog.

Found this site today, thought I'd sign up and become part of the community!

Any other Canadians out there?

Canadians? Yes sir, we got canadians

Welcome to the forum, glad you stopped in to introduce yourself. I can relate with your wife, if we camped where bears existed, I would have a camper too, among other things. Its funny how things are. Wife is from the north and doesnt mind bears. I am from the south, and get a little nervous about it. However, she if terrified of snakes around here, which dont bother me at all.

I like my chances over a snake than a bear!

Weather - cold. Snowy. Not camping - unless you're doing the winter camping thing, build a Quinzee, reflective emergency blankets, candles for heat inside...fire for heat outside, etc, etc.

Not so much. I'll wait until it warms up.

Question to y'all - How do I get a cool signature that lists my stuff? I've seen them around, and was just wondering how I get one.

Thanks!

If I recall correctly, there is a minimum number of posts before signatures are allowed. There were a lot of spammers. I think its 10 posts, someone can confirm. Then you just go to UserCP in the menu up top and click on edit signature.
