It's raining again in NY

It is raining again in NY - it seems that it has been raining most of August!!
Rain doesn't bother me as much as hail, tornados and flash flooding. We were suppose to go camping this weekend out in Riverhead. We thought about doing it anyway, in the rain, but the weather warning was scarey to listen to even being in a house, let alone in a pop-up in the woods. I am really disappointed, but what can I do. We are going Labor Day - rain or not!!

We have been begging for rain here in TN. Finally after weeks and weeks of dry 100 plus degree heat, it has cooled down and started raining here. We were also going camping this weekend, but when we saw the weather coming in, we decided against it. Glad we did, looks like it has set it.
